Day 6.

Kids back to school today so back to early starts all round.

Dark and rainy mornings are just the time when my fair-weather self would have a few ‘quick coffees before I go’ and end up putting off a planned run all day.  So I am very pleased with myself  for only taking 30 mins today to get out running after dropping the not so little darlings at the bus stop!

Wanted to do a bit longer run and get as far as Hyde Park  because plans will keep things short at the weekend.  My legs are beginning to have the odd twinge and feel tired so I put on my music and tried to keep to a relaxed pace.

Despite the rain there were lots of other people out running, particularly in the park.   On the way homeward I was surprised that a flashy Bentley actually stopped to wave me past to cross a side road.  I gave the driver the most attractive soggy red-faced smile I could muster after 50 odd mins!

  1. Well done for getting out despite the rain.

  2. I can sooo relate to this, but then that’s what Janathon’s all about. Keep it up!

  3. I wouldn’t have expected a Bentley driver to stop! Well done on the run.
