Janathon Day 12.
British Military Fitness class today. Took the car as I couldn’t face the walk/run home soaking wet. Today’s class was sprints. Long sprints, short sprints, relay sprints and… you get the message. All finished up with a 1km best effort back to the car park. Wish I was able to wear my Garmin because I’d like to know what sort of paces we were running at. I could certainly never move that fast on my own!
Well done legs! Gave them a little recovery run this afternoon to the shops to clock a mile for janathon!
Now I’m off to lie down…
1 hour BMF class
1.85 miles 19.05 mins run.
1 squirrel paying too much attention to how badly I do tricep dips.
Janathon totals:
12/31 days run 41.91 miles 3946 calories

Sprinting is always easier in a group sounds like a tough but fun session

Rather you than me. Well done (and next time tell the squirrel to mind his own business!)

Blimey you must be wrecked, can a squirrel do a tricep dip I wonder?

Was this the BMF class that came free with the Observer/Guardian on the weekend or do you do it regularly? I didn’t pick up a paper but beginning to wish I had… sounds quite interesting but I’d never really heard of it before. What sort of structure do the classes follow? Sprints are probably the hardest thing I can think of doing right now but I’m guessing the do different things every time?!

I’ve been going to BMF regularly for just over 5 years (Longest I’ve ever stuck at anything) the running bug came as a result.

Wow… I gaze at the people doing BMF in the park we run in half in awe and half in disbelief! I’m not sure I’d have the gumption to stick with something like that… it looks hard!! Keep an eye out for those squirrels… he could have been watching you to gather intelligence!
