Marchathon.
So far so good! (in other words I’ve not wimped out yet, but it is only 3 days in…)
Day 2. BMF class.
I was in two minds about going because I was still a bit full of cold and there was a rumour that we are about to have a fitness assessment. I didn’t fancy getting a much lower score than last time nor passing out trying to maintain my 1500m time! Fortunately it wasn’t happening on Wednesday so I enjoyed the class and didn’t get too out of breath. The main problem was my runny nose which was not great when doing press ups nor the plank! (fortunately my gloves are very absorbent!)
One of my Marchathon rules (rules are great – and inspired by http://abradypus.wordpress.com/) is that unlike Janathon, where I made myself go for a run as well as BMF, during Marchathon, BMF counts as running and therefore no other activity is required that day!
A busy day today, and I was wondering when to fit it all in! I planned to just drop in for 30 mins to an early coffee social but ended up staying and hour and a half! By the time I’d run some errands, got home and cleared a space to work it was 11am so going for a lunchtime run got postponed as I’d only just got started. The afternoon arrived… my head hurt and I still had stuff to do. Run? Maybe not today. BUT – that’s what went wrong in February! So I decided to do what I would have done for Janathon and pushed myself out of the door for an early evening run around the block. It might have been March and light but it was as cold as Janathon. Run done – did feel better with that ‘smug feeling’ and having cleared my fuzzy head.
Day 3 run: 3.18 miles 30.31 mins

I approve of that rule, and am also glad that your waves of smug from having gone running did the trick and made you feel better.

good rule, BMF most definitely qualifies as running! 🙂

Glad the run made you feel better. No place for me either on RPHM!
