Juneathon Day 3. Another trip to British Military Fitness in Hyde Park this morning. Today we ran and ran and it was HOT! Running drills, Knees up, heels up, side stepping (both sides) and shuttle runs.
Apart from running there was also rather a lot of emphasis on trees today. Run to tree 1, number of press ups/squat thrusts/burpees, and back. Repeat at tree 2, 3 and 4.
Run to a another tree and perform a set of exercises. (For this activity it is only 1 person allowed per tree so having a good sprint pace is useful to save a little time and distance!) More shuttle runs (yes, between trees) while partner does pull ups on the railings. I was suitably melted by the end.
The final bit of fun, as we ran back for the cool down and stretch was to run to (and hug) 4 different species of tree. I went exploring in the itchy long grass and I think the four I found were these.
So a good morning of fresh air, an hours exercise (lots of running) and a little bit of nature all in one!

I do like your Lego theme. Do you have a cast of 30?

My son’s animation cast will be sufficient, however finding a relevant theme for my blog will get more challenging when I get down to Harry Potter or Darth Vader!
