Juneathon day 20.
It was hot and sunny for BMF this morning and we were asked by our instructor who had been sensible and put on sunscreen before class. None of us had. We were making the most of our brief summer while it lasts and topping up our tans. Unfortunately it was my ‘runners tan’ I was developing which is only vaguely attractive when in running kit. My ams are fine but my ‘tan’ starts where my shorts end and finishes at my ankles leaving me with lovely white feet! Not a good look in a summer dress and sandles!
I have to confess that after 20 days of running every day I am now taking BMF classes rather easier than normal. I’m doing all the running and exercises but have just turned down the pace a bit lot because my feet, ankles and legs are a bit stiff and achy when we start. By the end of the class however I feel great and am all set up to go for a run!
Fortunately I was able to resist today.
BMF class, 3 miles running

Runners tan isn’t really something I worry about in Glasgow !!!

White feet, black toenails. It’s the only look worth having.

Runners tan combined with kayak tan = black knees and white feet.

Oh yes, I have that one too, though I insist on wearing capris so my tan stops just below the knee, really.
