Today I’ve been a right grump. I must have got out of bed the wrong way and have been generally out of sorts all day. Not helped having big son at home half the day on ‘study’ leave. I’ve started lots of tasks but finished nothing, set my garmin to find satellites more than once but not made it out the door.
Eventually this afternoon I took myself out for a walk and ended up in the Nike shop where I treated myself to a wool hooded running top (They’ve forecast snow after all) and that plus a bit of blue sky worked its magic!
I went out to run at 5pm once youngest was home. Perhaps I am in a rut or perhaps I’ve just found the right time for me to run. I ran my same local loop again, plus extension, enjoying the time to myself undistracted by music in the dark evening with the shop lights and commuters driving home. Good humour restored.
Janathon day 9. 4.4 miles.
9 Days run in a row… 34.9 miles.

Amazing the power of shopping and blue sky! Oh, and running, obviously. On a slight tangent, I’ve just got distracted by smiling at your header photo – I’ve never noticed how lovely it is.

Ooh – nice top. I could’ve done with that neckline to stop my back pack chafing.
