Floral mile

I had to work today and had a long appointment at the dentist. Then I binned my plans to go to run club or run this evening because I’m going out! Um. Juneathon day 13, what to do? when?

I decided on a quick run to the shops when I had a break for lunch. To make my brief run more interesting I took a detour via a small park where I used to take my sons to play when they were little. I heard on the local news earlier in the week that a floral lawn has been planted there so I went to have a look and to take a photo

Juneathon day 13. 1.39 miles. I’ll get round to running some decent mileage, one day.

  1. Oh I saw that on the news yesterday, it looked lovely. Does it smell nice? They said that they had planted it with plants such as Greek Mint so that it releases scent when trodden on.

  2. Ooooh, lovely floral patchwork! And top marks for squeezing in the Juneathoning.
