It’s Janathon Juneathon! Here we go again!
I did ask on facebook the other day if I could start on Monday and was told slacking was not an option. But I wasn’t joking.
You may have noticed that I haven’t blogged or run recently. In fact (if you don’t count BMF classes) I haven’t run since The London Marathon. I didn’t even turn up to run the BUPA London 10,000 last week (which I had run every year since it started) because I’ve lost my love of running. So fitting in exercise for the sake of exercising on the last day of half term when I had lots to do and had to travel back to London was an ask too much of me today.
But I do have a plan…
-
Juneathon day one and I have started blogging again.
-
Tomorrow, Juneathon day two, I will start exercising for 30 days in a row (yes, I’ll do July 1st to make up.
-
Hopefully before Juneathon is done my competitive side may kick in, some running love will rub off from reading blogs and I will go out the door and run by myself again!
Watch this space…
P.S. Today was not slacking but a rest day after a week of extreme gardening (jungle clearing and Triffid (5 foot nettles) hunting!) and cycling.

I think you need a rest day after battling with a Triffid!!!!

Can’t believe you have lost your love of running, hope it returns.

Good luck finding your running mojo… but just remember that cycling and BMF are perfectly respectable pursuits too.

You’ll find your mojo somewhere unexpected – just stick with it and then give it some welly 🙂

Sorry to hear you’ve lost your mojo but slightly comforted that it happens to us all.xx

Hope you get your running mojo back soon. I hope I never lose mine – must tie it down…

I had to scroll back up to check whose blog I was reading! Hope your running mojo returns soon.

Good going. I’ve been there. All love of the run lost. Sitting on the sofa knowing I should be out there running and thoroughly enjoying it but no, I sit there and veg!! My running mojo had run out the door and was of with someone else, laughing and joking around whilst I veg!!
The problem with the running mojo is that you have to run to find it. Out there, on the streets, on the trails, around that next corner, waiting, watching……

Too true I need to get to parkrun and see if it’s there. Trouble is i’ve been having a fling with cycling so I hope it will forgive me!
