A week of BMF


I have another plan!

Hatched while cycling to BMF this morning, to take my mind off the fact I was finding it harder work than normal  But then I had left the house in longer tights and a waterproof only to find after half a mile that it was in fact summer after all.

My BMF class wasn’t great.  Having over heated and failed to hydrate properly before the class I was not in great shape for a first session after a week off.  My dignity in the reds was saved by a couple of first timers one of whom  had competed in a triathlon at the weekend!  So not last back from many laps of the railings even though I felt like crawling.

Back to my plan.  A new BMF venue has started with classes on alternative days to my regular Hyde Park sessions.  As it’s the same distance from home in the other direction I thought I’d give it a try and go to BMF 5 days in  a row for Juneathon week one.  Well it sounded like a good thing to do at the time. I am enjoying regular BMF classes (mostly) at the moment and added to watching my diet I am gradually  loosing some excess fat gained from  carbo overloading during marathon training. It will be interesting to see if 2 extra classes make a difference, other than (based on today’s performance) finishing me off by the weekend!


Day one, (Juneathon day 2)

1 hour BMF class (about 3 miles running according to someone’s Garmin) plus just over 5 miles cycling.
