The first Monday of the year, my first British Military Fitness class of 2015 and first for Janathon this year. Kit left out and all ready to go. Then I snooze my alarm one time too many this morning and the next thing I know it’s 5 to 9 and I’m too late. Oops! Just as well it wasn’t tomorrow or younger son would have missed his mock GCSE maths exam.
By the time I was up and had got said son up, awake and wound up busy revising, I’d lost my slot to exercise as I had to stick around for a delivery and a meeting with a party-wall surveyor. I got on with the depressing task of de-Christmasing, cleaning and tidying up. It was all pretty physical stuff (honest) and included a wrestling match with a 5 foot Christmas tree. I also added a late walk to the shop to get food. (Yes, I have still not organised a proper big food shop)
Yes, I could maybe have made it to running group or out for a run this evening but my priorities today were getting son back into ‘school’ routine ready for the next two weeks of exams. Tomorrow is another day.
Janathon day 5
1 mile return walk to shops, carrying 4 bags of shopping on way home.
1 token plank, 1 Christmas tree wrestled with.

Tree wrestling sounds like you qualify under the Highland Games Janathon category
