West London runner with a British Military Fitness addiction and new found love of bicycles.
Fairweatherrunner? Yes, because when the going gets tough you’ll find me on the sofa.
I do run in the rain and snow from time to time and do lots of mucking about in the mud at BMF in all weathers, but when its dark, cold, raining, before breakfast, after wine o’clock or I’m on my own, I get very very good at procrastinating and making excuses not to run. I’m afraid I don’t like it when it’s too hot either.
Fortunately I discovered Janathon and Juneathon (jog, log and blog everyday) and through the twitter and blogger running community found running buddies, friends and motivation. My running mileage has increased and I have learned a lot. One thing leads to another and I ran my first marathon in 2012.
This blog is my running diary and record, my race reports and training, my rants and daily rambles of all sorts in Janathon and Juneathon. It helps spare my non-running friends and family from the full details of highs and lows, pace, training plans, running kit, injuries and black toenails.
